Hydroponics in Lettuce

Generally , seedlings of 2-3 weeks old is transplanted into the holes of corksheet abive the tray. During transplantation period , pH and EC of nutrient solution should be maintained between 5.8-6.5 and 1.5 -1.9 ,respectively. Then after 10 -15 days of , again nutrient solution is added and EC value is increased to 2.0-2.2ds/m . After 20 days of seedling transplantation Lettuce can be collected and after 30-35 days , it is suitable to harvest. During collection period , average weight of leaves of every plant is approximately 400-600 g. After harvesting for the first time, 2nd time production of lettuce can be possible in the same nutrient solution. Normally , during winter , 2-3 times production of Lettuce on the same tray is possible.
